San Antonio's Ready-to-Work Program thru SA's Workforce Development

Ready to Work was launched by San Antonio's Workforce Development with a vision to connect the San Antonio community with premier education and employment, helping participants acquire skills needed to secure great jobs with trusted employer partners, while simultaneously supporting them to overcome the challenges holding them back. In the last 12 months, over 6,400 applicants have completed the intake process and over 3,100 participants have enrolled into approved training courses. Over 330 employers have pledged to support the program and already 136 employers have hired 175 Ready to Work training completers. 

Ready to Work is committed to helping residents find and pursue their passion. Thanks to 80+ training partners/providers, they now offer over 1400 courses and training programs, expanding their reach to more quality jobs than ever. From manufacturing to healthcare and even to aerospace, participants can train in industries in high demand and that are well-paid.

San Antonio is a special place, complete with possibility, pride and growth. Their Ready to Work program has earned national recognition for its unprecedented scale, community collaboration, employer engagement, online course catalog, and central data platform.  San Antonio has also proven that when organizations work together, great things can happen.

Child and or Adult Psychiatrist 

Psychiatric Assessments – Psychiatric Evaluations Only.

(NO Medication Management, NO Follow-up Services), The Psychiatric Evaluations include a “one-time” *face-to-face interview, medical history, mental status 

exam, diagnosis and treatment recommendation. Evaluate patients for mental, emotional or behavioral disorders. Diagnosis disorders, including nature and extent, and determine the appropriate course of treatment for the patient. The evaluation is most useful in determining danger to self or others, needed for psychotropic medication and/or need for acute hospitalization. Again, the overall services are to provide possible TREATMENT RECOMMENDATIONS. This is a part-time contract position. Clients will be scheduled according to YOUR availability.

Requirements

• 2 Years Experience - Requires a degree in medicine from an accredited school and is licensed to practice Psychiatry in the State of Texas. 
• Insurance - Professional Liability Coverage must be consistent with industry standards of $1,000,000-$3,000,000 per Aggregate.
• Compensation Based on Contract
